Kennedy Academic Learning Center is an after school tutorial program designed to assist students from kindergarten through 8th grade.

We offer N.C. state-aligned curriculums in:

Reading/Language Arts: Exciting lessons for improving spelling, pronunciation, vocabulary, phonics, and comprehension.

Writing: Innovative approaches to grammar instruction, communication, and the writing process.

Math: Engaging lessons to help students acquire mathematical literacy, understand and apply mathematical skills, and develop problem solving, communication, and reasoning skills within their study of math.

Study/Test Taking: Useful tools of effective communication, managing study time, habits and place, remembering and interpreting information, taking notes, using reference sources, preparing for and taking tests, and much more!

Computer Literacy: Challenging, fun and effective platforms for teaching computer literacy skills in the context of core academic lessons in reading, math and writing.
